"When I Survey" by Aaliyah Jasz - new video out now!

Aaliyah Jasz was kind enough to grace us with her presence and sing this incredibly moving hymn, "When I Survey The Wondrous Cross", a song that speaks of the death of Christ and the overwhelming sense of everything else being insignificant when that sacrifice is contemplated.

Leaving listeners spellbound from a young age, Aaliyah Jasz’s journey began in the church where gospel music became her first love. Currently, her style uniquely gleans from R&B, neo-soul, folk and soul. Her voice is “equal parts power and poise, serenity and softness”. Her debut release, ‘Inhale Exhale’, recorded in her bedroom, showcases lullaby-esque harmonies: a reminder to pause and be present. She is presently 1 of 4 applicants to be chosen for ‘Inside Track’ – a programme created by Ivor Novello award winning producer Cassell the Beatmaker and in partnership with PPL, The Ivors Academy and The Ivors Academy Trust.
