Akil Henry
MD and Co-FOUNDER
Musician, data analyst & podcaster. Whilst completing a degree in Mathematics and Music at the University of Birmingham, he started One Sound Music with some friends with the ambition to give platforms to Adventist artists, who typically haven’t been part of the gospel/Christian music mainstream market. Accumulating experience across the years from vocal arranging, choir directing, mixing and mastering to running his own band @BetweenWorldsUK, he brings with him a varied musical background which helps him create multi-faceted strategies for artists to achieve their goals. His experience in data analysis and marketing also gives him a deep understanding of how artists can use data and marketing to their advantage in an increasingly digital society.
Tochi Anu
Co-FOUNDER
Guitar, choral direction, songwriting, photography - Tochi’s a true creative to his core. When he’s not doing his day job as a civil servant in HR Management, he’s part of the dynamic duo Soul Thirst Music with his wife and being an amazing father to his two beautiful kids.
Antonia Gregory
Co-FOUNDER
Like the other team members, Antonia has an extremely diverse musical background, from singing background vocals for Jahmene Douglas (who had a UK no 1 album a few years back), to sound engineering (which she is finishing up a degree in at the moment from the University of West London). Years of singing in church and an innate musical ability have allowed her to develop a keen ear, which she uses to her advantage as a sound engineer and as a vocalist. She also brings a knack for being extremely practical and managing to keep the other two in check when they get too ambitious!
