Must-Listen Albums For Any Gospel Keyboard Players (Pt. 1)

  1. Maurette Brown Clark, “The Dream” (2007)

Eddie Brown’s playing on this album is incredible. Not a note wrong, and so many innovative ideas throughout. Maybe the best example of this is “I Have Decided To Follow Jesus” where he backs Maurette spectacularly, following her every move!

2. Marvin Sapp, “Diary Of A Psalmist” (2003)

Kevin Bond. You Are God Alone. Melodic playing. The end.

3. Dorinda Clark-Cole, “Dorinda Clark-Cole” (2002)

“I’m Still Here” can be best thought of as a duet between Mike Bereal and Dorinda Clark-Cole. The album version is great, but the DVD version?! It’s below…just make sure you’re sitting down.
